Makercart

A Workshop on Wheels!

Housed at the elementary school is our makercart . . . a trades cart powered by student innovation and STEAM!  When teachers wheel our makercart into their classrooms, our students will have access to Toybox 3D printers, Ozobot Evos, Strawbees, a button maker, and a Lite Brite.

Makercart Online Resources

Toybox 3D Printer

Print toys from the Toybox catalog or design your own builds. Many of the toys in the catalog are free. However, there is an option to purchase licensed toys. A (free) account is required to print.

Ozobot Evo

With these little robots, students can explore block coding independently using the web-based app Ozoblocky. Students can also design their own Ozobot paths using color coding, a sheet of paper, and Ozo Markers.

Strawbees

Engineer a wacky invention using these construction straws and connectors! Using Strawbees not only encourage creativity and problem solving, but they also help develop fine-motor skills!

Engage Strawbees

We are  grateful for the generosity of the Jamestown Area Foundation whose support made this makercart possible.
